01:15:11 - 8.00 Miles (00:09:24 per mile / HR 152bpm Z2 84% Max)
Longest run for quite some time. I wanted to take the pace easy and try to maintain it right through the whole of the run. It went really well and the only time the pace slowed any or HR went up a bit was on the long hill for 2 miles back up home - but even then it was pretty well under control.
It is getting really frosty now, and I am starting to worry a bit about how this could impact on the training going in to the real winter months - especially on the Bike.
I must admit the idea of spendng 2 or 3 hours on a Turbo trainer or Treadmill doesn ot fill me with joy - but if it has to be done, it will be done. Let it be written and let it be done!!
